How to Complete This Form


Use this form to make an informal request for information from AlburyCity under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act). There is no application fee, but copying charges may apply (see Council’s Revenue Policy).

Informal requests are suitable for simple, non-complex information that can be processed quickly. This form is not suitable for requests that:

  • require extensive searching or large volumes of information;
  • involve personal, sensitive, or commercial information needing third-party consultation;
  • include residential building plans beyond height and external configuration;
  • seek property records or development applications lodged before 1 July 2010.

For these, lodge a formal GIPA application via Council’s website or visit Customer Service. For property or DA records, use the Property Information Request Form online.

Complete all fields and attach supporting documents to help identify the information. Incomplete details may result in refusal. You will be notified if the information can be released.
